Ferdinand de Saussure's Theory of Semiotics
Ferdinand de Saussure is French linguist who adjudged
semiotics as a discipline and allude to it as Semiology. He theorized that a
sign is made of two parts. He Signifier and the Signified. He mentioned that
Semiotics allows audiences to see other codes in his theory sign is equivalent
to signifier + signified.
